Yes& doesn't have accounts. We don't ask for your name, email, or any other way to identify you, and we don't store the text of your questions.
When you ask a question, it's sent to our server, which asks an AI model to classify it and, for most questions, generate a response. We keep only aggregate counts: how many questions fall into each safety category, how many were blocked, whether you gave a thumbs up or down, and whether a question involved a location. None of these counts are tied to you as a person, and none of them include the words you typed.
If you use voice input, your recording is sent to a transcription provider to turn it into text, then discarded the same way as a typed question.
Notes you save are stored only on your device. We never see them and never upload them.
If your question raises a safety concern, we don't generate a response at all. We show you a fixed set of crisis resources instead, the same for everyone, with nothing about your question stored anywhere.
Because we don't collect data linked to your identity, there is little to nothing to access, export, or delete on request.
If you have questions about this policy or need to reach us for any other reason, email [email protected].
